For a couple, nothing is ever more painful than falling out of love with one another after years of marriage. Earlier this week, rumors spread on social media about Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras' allegedly failing marriage.

For quite some time now, Jay Contreras and his wife, Sarah Abad, were rumored to have split after more than a decade of marriage. The rumors were fueled by the couple's lacking presence on social media, particularly Instagram. Recently, some fans felt even more suspicious when the Kamikazee singer posted a greeting on Mother's day.

On Instagram, the Kamikaze frontman shared a stunning artwork of his wife along with a sweet message that reads: "Happy mother's day, I love you." While this may seem like a sweet gesture for many people, what broke their hearts is Sarah's brief response.

"It may not be the same between us, but I'll forever grateful for giving me, two wonderful angels. Thank you." Sarah was referring to her two kids with Jay, Kidlat Caia, 14 years old, and Isla Eunan, 10 years old.

Many fans immediately reacted to this. For some, Sarah's response is a confirmation that the couple has already gone their separate ways. For weeks now, some observant fans have noticed how Sarah has deleted all of her photos with her husband on Instagram.

The celebrity couple tied the knot way back in 2009 in a memorable wedding ceremony in Paco, Manila. Throughout the years, Jay and Sarah had very little troubles in their marriage. In their many years as a couple, Jay and Sarah were blessed with two kids.
