Homeless na Foreigner, Halos Wala ng Makain at sa Kalsada na Lang Natutulog

As the coronavirus outbreak grapples the entire world, we need kindness and compassion more than ever. During the pandemic, thousands of lives were lost while battling with COVID-19. But let's not forget the living ones who are also affected. In addition to that, thousands in the Philippines continue to struggle due to lack of food, shelter, and clothing during the enhanced community quarantine.

In Metro Manila, President Rodrigo Duterte has implemented an enhanced community quarantine in order to contain the spread of coronavirus. The lockdown poses a threat to people who are living on the streets during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Among them is this foreigner, who was forced to sleep on the cold concrete for the most part of the quarantine. A concerned citizen named Yram Enaj shares this heartbreaking sight on social media. On her Facebook post, Enaj shared her encounter with this homeless foreigner.

According to the good Samaritan, they were just walking along the road when they spotted this foreigner sleeping on the street. Their hearts immediately broke due to the foreigner's pitiful condition. They tried asking for the name of the foreigner, but he himself couldn't remember it.

"Tinanong namin kung anong pangalan niya at kung saan siya galing, hindi niya matandaan lahat. Kawawa naman sana matulungan siya na makauwi sa sarili niyang bansa," says Enaj on Facebook.

According to Enaj, the foreigner was already a senior citizen. He seems to be suffering from memory loss and he couldn't even remember his own name. Enaj gave the foreigner some food and water, hoping that it would help him.

On the other hand, this post also tugged at the heartstrings of people on social media. Many of them immediately tried to reach out to the foreigner and offer some help.
