Ex-Broadcaster ng ABS-CBN, Nagsalita! Isiniwalat ang Maling Pagtrato sa mga Empleyado

On May 7, one of the leading broadcast networks in the Philippines, ABS-CBN, went off-air following a cease-and-desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). Many people protested against this forceful closure, but there are also some who supported NTC's decision, including a former broadcaster who came to light with a shocking revelation.

Among them is Jobert Sucaldito, one of the former broadcasters in the Kapamilya network. Jobert has been serving as a DZMM broadcaster for almost 20 years, until he was illegally dismissed in January 2020. Now, he's finally ready to speak out.

In a lengthy statement on Facebook, Sucaldito revealed what truly happens behind the doors of the giant network. The former broadcaster asked the network to stop its bluff of using its 11,000 employees as 'human shield.'

In a shocking revelation, Sucaldito claimed that ABS-CBN execs have exploited the rights of many employees in the past, including cameramen and broadcasters. The network is allegedly facing mounting cases against the employees that they have illegally dismissed.

"Saan ang sinasabi niyong puso ng Kapamilya? Saan? +Ganoon ba ang Kapamilya? Walang puso? Dahil contractual lang sila kaya anytime ay puwede niyo silang sipain palabas? Anong kasalanan nila? Kung napansin ninyo, sino ba ang yumaman sa ABS-CBN - silang magkakuntsaba lang naman sa loob ah," wrote Sucaldito.


Earlier in January, Jobert Sucaldito filed a case against DZMM, where he worked as a broadcaster for many years. According to Sucaldito, he was illegally dismissed over some claims he made on-air about actress Nadine Lustre. On January 7, he issued a public apology. Three days later, he was served an indefinite suspension.
