Mag-Ina, Pinalayas ng Walang-Pusong Landlord sa Kalagitnaan ng Coronavirus Outbreak

We're only a week away before the enhanced community quarantine is lifted in Luzon. However, thousands of families are already suffering because they have no means of earning money. In order to resolve this, some government and private agencies like SSS, Maynilad, and Meralco offered a three-month moratorium on their members.

Even President Rodrigo Duterte encouraged landlords and renters to allow a moratorium on their tenants. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, most people can't go to work, that's why they can't pay bills as well. But it seems like not all people are considerate of the situation.

Earlier this week, many people on social media were enraged over this 'heartless' landlord. In a Facebook post, we can see a small family getting evicted from their home. According to the concerned citizen who shared it on social media, the mother and her two kids were evicted after not being able to pay their rent.

Indeed, the sight is heartbreaking to look at. The mother and her two minor kids were carrying what's left of their little belongings: some beddings, pillows, plates, and kitchenware. What's more heartbreaking is the fact that the two young kids seemed clueless of their grave situation.

"Mga walang awa. Kawawa naman po sila, pinalayas nila dahil hindi nakabayad. Alam naman nila na lockdown at walang trabaho ang karamihan," this is the emotional caption of the concerned citizen who witnessed the eviction.

Many netizens can't help but pity this family. Through social media, many people also expressed their eagerness to help this mother and her young kids. Hopefully, they will be given temporary shelter and assistance that they truly need.
