"Hindi tayo pwedeng puro aura"- Dawn Chang at Vice Ganda, Nagparinig sa GirlTrends

It's been a year since Dawn Chang left GirlTrends for good. However, it seems like the issue is still far from over. In her recent guesting at "It's Showtime," the former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate took a jab at the viral girl group. But this time, even Vice Ganda supported Dawn!

As you may well know, Dawn was one of the chose judges for the "Sampu-Sample" segment. During a previous episode, she was commenting on the performance of dance group Powered Lox, wherein she was quoted as saying:

"I can see the technique is there. Gustung-gusto ko ‘yon, kasi ang pagsasayaw, hindi lang puro hataw. Kailangan may technique. Hindi tayo puwedeng puro aura," commented Dawn, which instigated a jesty response from Vice Ganda.


The host, who was just sitting beside the performers, were quick to react. "GirlTrends, pinariringgan kayo! Hindi pa tapos sa inyo si Dawn Chang," alluding to Dawn Chang and GT member Chienna Filomeno's brawl, which allegedly prompted Dawn to leave the group.

Moreover, Vice also recalled GirlTrends' failed performance of Sam Smith's "How Do You Sleep." Their dance number became viral on social media, and many netizens feast on their lack of synchronization.

"Ang galing sumayaw ni Dawn Chang, ‘no? Kaya iniwan niya ‘yung GirlTrends, e! Kung ‘di ka umalis, sana trending ka rin. Sana hinintay mo ‘yung number na ‘yun! Ganyan lang kadali, bakit hindi pa nagawa ng GirlTrends! Ganyan, hindi puro aura," jested Vice Ganda.

Even some showbiz insiders claimed that right from the start, it is apparent that Vice Ganda does not like the girl group. This is apparently the reason why until now, GirlTrends still hasn't been invited in Vice's late-night show, "Gandang Gabi Vice."
