Napikon? Chienna Filomeno, may buwelta sa mga parinig sa kanya ni Dawn Chang

Earlier this week, many fans were thrilled when former PBB housemate Dawn Chang graced the noontime show "It's Showtime." During her guesting, the 30-year-old dancer is back not as a performer, but as a judge! Dawn was one of the judges chosen for the "Sampu Sample," the show's newest talent segment.

After the performance of Powered Lox, Dawn gave out a comment which many people saw as a jab against her former group, GirlTrends. The former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate complimented the group on their technique.

"I can see the technique is there. Gustung-gusto ko ‘yon, kasi ang pagsasayaw, hindi lang puro hataw. Kailangan may technique. Hindi tayo puwedeng puro aura," claimed Dawn, which prompted speculations on social media. Is she throwing shade on her former group?


GirlTrends member, Chienna Filomeno, responded with a video on Instagram. On October 9, the GirlTrend member shared a video of her dance rehearsal along with the caption:

"All set. Don’t let people stop you from doing what you love most. Do what you need to do to make you happy. EEEH EEEEH EEEEEE MO LANG SILA. Hahaha char!" Even though she did not drop any names, for the netizens, it's clear that she's alluding to Dawn Chang.

As you may well remember, GirlTrends became viral for their "How Do You Sleep" performance, which was "all over the place." Even Vice Ganda can't help but throw shade at the group's lousy performance.


"Ang galing sumayaw ni Dawn Chang, ‘no? Kaya iniwan niya ‘yung GirlTrends, e! Kung ‘di ka umalis, sana trending ka rin," jested Vice Ganda during the show.
