"Paluluhain ko si Jaya!"- Mystica, Hinamon si Jaya ng Nude Showdown sa CR!

On its 10th year anniversary, "It's Showtime" started the segment "Tawag ng Tanghalan: Celebrity Edition." This time, celebrities with a golden voice will be competing for the title of grand champion. Among the first contenders were Shirley Fuentes, a well-known veteran singer. Unfortunately, Fuentes was not able to make it past the judges.

In the middle of her performance of "Luha" by Aegis, she was stopped by the gong by 'hurado' Jaya. Jaya, who was a dear friend of Fuentes, explained her decision to halt her performance.

“Hindi kita masisisi. Siguro, this is not a song na kinakanta mo or hindi lang nagtugma yung ginagawa mo sa inensayo niyo kanina. So, sorry talaga, pero kinailangan kitang i-Gong kasi talagang nagkamali ka sa mga parte na narinig namin."

However, it seems like someone else took the blow. Mystica, a former 90s star, took to Facebook to share that she has also been invited to join "Tawag ng Tanghalan." Moreover, she also left a daring challenge for the "Queen of Soul" Jaya.

According to Mystica, who also goes by the name Ruby Villanueva on Facebook, the competition's set-up was unfair. She claimed that it is not right for the celebrity contestants to be judged by their fellow celebrities as well

"Pwede akong sumali sa tawag ng tanghalan at kantahin din yung kinanta ni Shirley Fuentes na LUHA basta si JAYA ang kalaban ko. I DARE HER! Kung biritan din lang ng LUHA, siguradong paluluhain ko lang si JAYA! AKO ANG KAKATAY DIYAN!"

Mystica also called out the "It's Showtime" judges for their 'disrespectful' and 'unacceptable' treatment towards Shirley Fuentes. On the other hand, Jaya and the show are yet to give their statements about this challenge.
