Due to boredom, more and more people are engaging in online challenges. One of these popular challenges is the 'no shave' challenge on social media. However, it's not exactly an exciting trend, but more of a necessity. Since people could not go out to their barbers, the no-shave lockdown has been an ongoing trend.

Just like the 'No Shave November' challenge, the 'no shave lockdown' has been going on for more than a month, ever since the enhanced community quarantine was implemented on March 15. Even celebrities are partaking in this challenge, and among them is Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson.

Just like most celebrities, Gerald Anderson is currently confined to his home. There are no tapings or shootings to keep him busy, which is why Gerald has also doesn't see the necessity in shaving. Earlier this week, Gerald shared a selfie of his unshaven looks during the quarantine.

Indeed, the unshaven look truly suits the actor. Some even compared him to American director John Krasinski, for his unshaven and manly beard. However, it seems like not all fans were pleased with Gerald's new look. Here's what one fan has to say about Gerald's transformation:
