Marian, Ipinatikim ang Kanyang Homemade Special Menudo sa Mga Frontliners

During the coronavirus pandemic, our brave front-liners are risking their lives and limb to protect us against COVID-19. Even though it's risky, they are laying their lives on the line just to care for coronavirus patients. Because of their sacrifice and bravery, many people are also expressing their appreciation and gratitude for our front-liners.

Among them is celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. To show their gratitude to our brave medical staff, Marian and Dingdong decided to prepare homemade meals for them. On Instagram, they shared how they prepared and cooked Marian's grandmother's signature menudo.

According to Marian, she prepared the meals herself as a way of thanking the brave medical staff of Quezon City General Hospital. Marian and Dingdong woke up early in the morning to prepare and cook the meals that will be sent to QCGH. The Kapuso "Primetime Queen" prepped the meals herself.

"Kitchen duties for our dear frontliners at the Quezon City General Hospital today who are sacrificing so much for us. Tonight’s meal for them is our family’s specialty— Menudo— a recipe that’s been passed on by my nanay. Big thanks to Ms. Joanne who told me about the Waltermart App and to Tough Mama for sending extra stoves."

To make it more special, Marian and Dingdong also wrote special message for the brave front-liners, hopefully to boost their morale and confidence during this pandemic. After preparing the meals, they sent them to QCGH right away so the medical staff wil receive the meals while it's still warm.

Because of their generosity and kind gesture, Marian and Dingdong received admiration and praises from the netizens. Indeed, they proved that even though we are at home, we can still make a difference in fighting COVID-19.
