Lea Salonga, Aminadong Nahirapan Makipag-Duet kay Regine Velasquez

The Philippines is blessed to have many talented singers who have been recognized all over the globe. From operas to talent shows, and to Broadway, you can guarantee that a Pinoy singer has dominated these stages before. These days, the most respected and well-loved singer in the Philippine entertainment industry is Lea Salonga and Regine Velasquez.

Indeed, both Lea and Regine have their own rights when it comes to singing. Regine, also dubbed "Asia's Nightingale," has been known for her hit love songs which dominated the music stores, such as "Pangarap ko ang Ibigin ka," "Dadalhin," "Tuwing Umuulan," and many more.

Lea Salonga, on the other hand, is recognized worldwide for her role in "Miss Saigon." She has also performed in Broadway, and has worked with Disney at a young age in the animated film "Aladdin." Recently, both Lea and Regine excite their fans with a most-anticipated duet!

On April 25, in light of Regine Velasquez's birthday, the two singers belted out songs during the online program "One Night With Regine." Lea and Regine made their fans' hearts skip a beat when they sang "I Don't Know How to Love Him," "What I Did For Love," and "Someone Like You."

During their duet, Lea praised Regine, who is also her good friend, for her undeniable vocal skills. The "The Voice" coach also admitted that because of Regine's high vocal range, singing together with her is definitely not a walk in the park.

"My God! It’s hard to sing with you—but I mean that only in the best way! You still sound the way you always did. But because of what you’ve been through in life, there’s so much color to your interpretations, and to your vocal quality, and to just everything about you," says Lea during their online show.
