In 2015, Khanitta Phasaeng won the most coveted crown of Miss Uncensored News Thailand. However, she almost lost her crown after the organization found out a secret she kept about her past.

After uncovering the truth, they discovered that Khanitta is even more deserving of winning the crown. In her application before joining the pageant, Khanitta claimed that she has passed grade school at 17 years old. However, it was later found out that Khanitta lied on her application.

There was no way she can pass high school because Khanitta never got to get past the third grade. In reality, she is the daughter of a garbage collector, who is struggling just to get by daily. But Khanitta is not ashamed of her roots. In fact, she even dedicates her success to her mother.

Khanitta Phasaeng, more popularly known as Mint to her loved ones, became viral on social media because of her photo with her mother. In the sensational picture, the 17-year-old beauty queen can be seen bowing down to her mother. This goes to show just how much Khanitta feels indebted towards her mother.

She grew up in poverty, but Khanitta's mother always made sure that there was food on the table. Even before she became a beauty queen, Khanitta is already helping her mother scavenge for garbage, which they will later sell. But even though she's a beauty queen now, Khanitta never forgets to look back where she came from.

In spite of lying on her application, the pageant organization decided to let Khanitta keep her crown. Indeed, she proved that she is truly deserving to be a beauty queen, not only for her charisma but also for her humility and compassion.
