BB Gandanghari, Emosyonal na Inalala ang Buhay Niya Bilang Rustom Padilla

Before he became our well-loved BB Gandanghari, he was first known as Rustom Padilla. Hailing from the celebrity clan of Padillas, Rustom went on to portray iconic roles in action films. With his rugged looks and amazing stunts, Rustom is truly the epitome of machismo. But in 2006, Rustom shocked the whole nation when he dropped a big revelation.

In 2006, Rustom was one of the housemates in the reality program "Pinoy Big Brother." During this show, he revealed that he is gay. Soon enough after dropping the big bomb, Rustom prepared for his transformation as BB Gandanghari. He was embraced by his family and fans throughout the process.

Now, more than a decade later, many fans can't still help but miss the old Rustom. BB now lives in Los Angeles, California, where she makes a living as a model. In spite of her hectic schedule, BB always finds time to connect with her fans on social media. Earlier this week, she looked back at her life as Rustom Padilla.

Many netizens wondered if BB can vlog about her transformation. She also referred to her past self as 'kambal.' During her Instagram Live, BB can't help but turn emotional as she recalled her past life.

"Naalala ko si Rustom, naiyak ako. Echos! Paano natin gagawin? Don't get me wrong. Wala akong gusto balikan. Ang sinasabi ko lang, that guy is a good guy... Si Rustom ang nagparaya para magkaroon ako ng sariling buhay kaya ako naiiyak."

If given the chance, would she go back to her old life? Probably not. For BB, her life as Rustom Padilla is already a closed chapter in her life.

According to BB, coming out of the closet was the toughest decision she had to make. During those times, she was contemplating her life, but she's thankful that her self-discovery has finally set her free.
