Agot Isidro, Nag-React Matapos Ikumpara sa Beteranong Komedyante na si Palito

Actress Agot Isidro has always been vocal about her criticisms against the current Duterte administration. The 53-year-old actress often uses social media as a powerful platform to express her dismay and observations about the errors of the government. Because of this, many Duterte supporters also target the Kapamilya actress on social media.

Earlier this week, Duterte's supporters found yet another way to criticize the actress. Way back in August 2019, Agot shared her new posh haircut on Instagram. The actress donned a bob cut with bangs hairstyle. Some people took her photo and created memes with it, but perhaps the most widespread is her comparison with the late comedian Palito.

Some Duterte supporters edited Agot's selfie and compared it with Palito. According to them, the resemblance between the two is uncanny. However, if they thought that this would disappoint Agot, then they are wrong. In fact, the actress received this in good graces and even paid tribute to the legendary comedian:

"Dear DDS, If you think I am offended by this, I am not. Palito is a legend. I am quite honored, actually. So thank you for this."

Agot wrote on Twitter, paying tribute to the late comedian who is considered as one of the greatest actors in Pinoy films.

In spite of this, the actress was firm on blocking Duterte die-hard supporters on her Twitter account. After all, as Agot says, her timeline, her rules: "But please, take your pea-brains out of my TL, because I am blocking you. My TL, my rules.”

On the other hand, many fans expressed their support for Agot Isidro. Some of them even commented how Duterte supporters are 'shallow' for only pointing out a person's physical appearance, instead of actually bringing a sound argument on the table.
