Van ni Kim Chiu, Pinaulanan ng Bala ng mga Nakamotorsiklo na Gunmen

Being a celebrity is not just all about the glitz and glam. As personalities in the limelight, they are also exposed to many risks and dangers. Celebrities may also have to deal with overzealous fans or other people with a vendetta against them. Recently, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu's life was put on the line.

"Umagang Kay Ganda" reported how the actress' van was shot down by gunned men. According to the report, Kim, her driver, and her personal assistant were riding on their van on the way to taping. When they reached the intersection of Katipunan Ave. and C.P. Garcia, Kim's van was gunned down.

According to the first-hand interview of the driver, men in motorcycle were catching up to them while they were driving along Katipunan Avenue. A few minutes later, they just heard the sound of bullets hitting the side of the van. At first, they didn't realize that they were the target.

"Di namin napansin na may putukan sa likod, di namin alam na sa amin pala pinapatama. Kami pala pinapaputukan non. Pero normal naman sir, normal naman wala naman nasaktan, tatlo kami. Si Miss Kim Chiu po, yung personal assistant niya, at ako po."

Fortunately, despite the traumatic incident, none of the passengers of the van were hurt. The Kapamilya actress, her assistant, and her personal driver were not hit by any of the bullets that rained down on their vehicle. According to the driver, there was no need to rush the actress to the hospital.

In fact, right after the incident, Kim Chiu just went straight to her taping, which just proves her dedication to her work above all. However, some fans still can't help but feel alarmed over Kim's safety, and they claimed that she could have just skipped work ever for a day.
