May Balak Lumipat? Boy Abunda, Nakipag-Dinner sa mga Big Bosses ng GMA

Network rivalry is stiff in the Philippine showbiz industry. Sometimes, even when a celebrity socializes with someone from other networks, the press will already interpret it to something else. Earlier this week, Boy Abunda was rumored to be transferring to GMA 7 after being spotted in a dinner with Kapuso comedian Ai-Ai delas Alas.

Apparently, based on Ai-Ai's IG post, Boy Abunda did not just attend the dinner with the GMA executives. In fact, he was the one who hosted it. Ai-Ai made sure to express her gratitude to Tito Boy on Instagram, where she penned a heartwarming message for her friend.

"Thank you ama Boy Abunda for hosting the dinner with GMA bosses. Salamat po sa time Ms. Lilybeth, Ms. Darling, Ms. Ruth, Ms. Gigi, Ms. Nini and Ms. Weng of aaai. Sarap ng kwentuhan. Yehey and thank you sa mga lady bosses for their time."

Naturally, many people were intrigued why the famed Kapamilya star would host an exclusive dinner party for the GMA bosses. Since ABS-CBN's franchise is on the rocks, this created suspicion among fans. Some netizens can't help but think that Boy Abunda might be planning to switch boats.

However, Ai-Ai was the first to quash these rumors. In the comments section, the 'Comedy Queen' denied the allegations that the dinner with the lady bosses was a business meeting. According to Ai-Ai, their dinner was purely a friendly and informal event.

"Hindi po, para po sa akin yan siya lang ang nag-host. Kwentuhan and chika and thank you na rin from me GMA," said the 'Comedy Queen' to one of the commentators on her IG post. On the other hand, Tito Boy is yet to respond to this matter.
