Here in the Philippines, we have many customs and traditions especially when it comes to weddings. During this memorable ceremony, most couples observe many traditions and practices that will bring 'good luck' to their life as a married couple. One example of this is the prosperity dance, more popularly known as 'money dance.'

How does the 'money dance' work? As with other cultures, one way to do it is to have male guests line up on one side and female guests on the other. They then pin money on the couple’s garments, with the males taking turns dancing with the bride, and the ladies, with the groom.

Earlier this week, another bride and groom hit the jackpot with their money dance. The lucky newlywed, Allan and Precilla, were from Binmaley, Pangasinan. Their wedding photos went viral on social media because of their unbelievable prosperity dance!

The couple's wedding gown and tuxedo were entirely covered with bills, which were elaborately arranged into a neat cape. The money consists of U.S and Candian dollars, as well as Philippine pesos. All in all, the lucky couple received approximately Php 844,000.

As expected, many netizens were amazed by the amount of money that rolled in during their wedding. According to a report in GMA News, most of the couple's guests and principal sponsors came all the way from America and Canada just to witness their union.

Following the tradition, all of the collected money will go to the bride and groom as gifts for their wedding. They can use the money to kickstart their life as a couple, and some people claim that their life will be more prosperous if they received more money.
