"Her sincerity is fake"- Professor, Tinawag na Pakitang-Tao Lamang si Angel Locsin

No doubt, Angel Locsin truly lives by her name. Aside from being an award-winning actress, Angel is also a generous philanthropist who has been recognized by Forbes in 2019. She has made over Php 12 million in donation to people in need during the Taal eruption, Typhoon Ondoy, and now, the coronavirus pandemic.

Indeed, Angel Locsin is an angel sent from above. She's one of the celebrities who quickly responded when the coronavirus outbreak occurred. Angel donated monetary assistance as well as food packs to our front liners and medical staff, in order to boost their morale during this pandemic.

However, it seems like no matter what she does, there will always be a critic around the corner. Recently, an unnamed professor criticized the 34-year-old actress for helping the frontliners, claiming that Angel is just doing it for publicity:

"Frankly speaking I am not impressed with actress Angel Locsin if she is helping, she is earning an overpriced rate of Php 500,000 per taping day, that is an injustice to the more hardworking Filipinos working very hard but not paid properly. Her help is pure publicity and self-promotion."

The actress herself did not address her critic, but her fiance Neil Arce stepped forward to defend Angel. On social media, Neil also posted a lengthy message, denouncing the critic's allegations about his soon-to-be-wife.

"I honestly believe that God made her successful because God knows she Will use it to Help those who are In Need. Calling out all actors as self-centered and Filipinos idiots is something we do not need during this time of Crisis sir," claimed Neil.

On the other hand, many people also agreed with Neil's message. Indeed, this is not the right time to let each other down. Instead, we must work together as one to help others in need throughout this coronavirus crisis.
