Sam Smith, Bumilib sa Talento ng Batang Pinoy na Nag-Perform ng Kanta Niya!

The Philippines is known worldwide for its talented singers. Talented singers like Rachelle Ann Go, Sarah Geronimo, KZ Tandingan, Marcelito Pomoy, and Gertrude Gerphil have made names on the international stage. But in the Philippines, you don't need to be a celebrity to be a great singer!

Indeed, singing has been embedded in our culture. Even at a young age, kids were already trained to sing at videoke during family gatherings. That being said, it's no surprise why many people recognized Filipinos for their talent. Recently, international singers praised a talented kid for his golden voice.

Earlier in February, two male students were spotted singing their hearts out in a mall karaoke. In a video, they were caught singing Sam Smith's hit song "Too Good at Goodbyes." In spite of the high notes, one of the students was just effortlessly belting out this song!

Soon enough, the video immediately made rounds on social media, until it has drawn the attention of Sam Smith himself. "Who is this kid? You are out of this universe whoever you are!" This is Sam Smith's priceless reaction to the video, which is now gaining attention from all over the world.

The student in the viral video was recognized as Carlmalone Montecido. Apparently, Carl has been a former contestant of the singing contest "Tawag ng Tanghalan" way back in 2016. He was hailed fifth-placer in the grand finals of the show.

The video was shared on Facebook Trixie Madison. As of now, it already reached more than 15 million views on the platform alone! Check out Carl's hair-raising performance here:
