Ogie Diaz: "Dapat magpasalamat si Matteo kay Mommy Divine" Bakit Kaya?

A week after the wedding, many people still can't get enough of the feud between Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli, and Mommy Divine. In his latest vlog, veteran comedian Ogie Diaz even shed light on this controversial issue. According to Ogie, netizens are being too harsh and too critical with Mommy Divine.

Ogie claimed that in a way, Matteo should be grateful to Mommy Divine. Even though the stage mom was against their relationship, she has a huge influence on Sarah's upbringing. And if it weren't for Mommy Divine, the 'Popstar Royalty' wouldn't end up with Matteo.

"At sino tayo para kwestyunin ang pagpo-protekta at pag-aalaga ni Mommy Divine. Kung si Mommy Divine ay hindi ganyan, definitely si Sarah ay hindi mapupunta kay Matteo. Kung hindi ganyan ka-over protective si Mommy Divine, hindi mapupunta kay Matteo si Sarah."

As you may well remember, this is not the first time that Mommy Divine has expressed disapproval on Sarah's would-be boyfriends, like John Lloyd Cruz, Rayver Cruz, and Gerald Anderson, to name a few. However, out of all of these suitors, only Matteo became Sarah's official boyfriend.

After all the troubles that Mommy Divine had caused, you would think that Matteo would be fuming at his mother-in-law. But according to close friends of the couple, the actor is very much willing to reconcile with Sarah's parents. In fact, they are just waiting for Mommy Divine to give the signal, so they can finally come over.

On his first-ever Instagram update after the wedding, Matteo also hinted that they are just waiting for the time to pass and 'heal.' "In time, with God’s grace and Love, everything will heal and fall into place. We are happy, we are blessed, and we are husband and wife!"
