Jaclyn Jose: "Hindi ako nanghingi kahit sentimo sa mga anak ko"

Jaclyn Jose is one of the most well-respected veteran actresses in the Philippine showbiz industry. Throughout her career, Jaclyn has earned the respect of her fans, as well as her fellow stars because of her professionalism and dedication. But aside from being a great actress, did you know that Jaclyn is an amazing mom as well?

The 55-year-old multi-awarded actress is mother to her two kids, Andi Eigenmann and Gwen Garimond Guck. Even from the start, Jaclyn had to raise her children all by herself. Being a single parent is not easy, especially since Jaclyn's career is also taking up much of her time.

In spite of the struggles she faced while raising her kids, Jaclyn admitted that she never once obliged them to help her. On Instagram, the 55-year-old star revealed the hardships she experienced just to provide her kids a good and comfortable life:

"I am a single mom of 2, I worked so hard to make them feel that everything was okay. Napuputulan ng ilaw o di makabayad rental, but that doesn't mean na ipapasa ko problema ko sa mga anak ko. I haven't gotten a single centavo sa mga anak ko."

She also trusts her children enough to let them make big decisions on their own. For Jaclyn, controlling her kids' choices was never an option. Instead, she wants them to explore life and learn by their own mistakes.

Moreover, Jaclyn also left a sound reminder to other parents. According to the actress: "Wag i-obligate your children to pay your dreams, they have their own too." We're sure that Andi and Gwen are so proud of their strong, independement mama!
