Earlier this week, the heartbreaking story of a homeless elderly man tugged at the heartstrings of people on social media. Pusang Gala, a popular Facebook vlogger, shared the touching story of lolo Hernane, who was separated from his family since December 2018 and has been roaming the streets ever since.

Pusang Gala helped Lolo Hernane get back on his feet. The vlogger fed and clothed Lolo Hernane, then shared his story on Facebook with the hopes of finding his family.

With the help of people on social media, they were able to track down the relatives of Lolo Hernane. Pusang Gala's team wasted no time and immediately sprang into action and contacted the family. Over the phone, the family expressed their gratitude to the vlogger for showing compassion to their long-lost relative.

According to Lolo Hernane's relatives, he has been dealing with mental health problems for quite some time now. His deteriorating mind might also be the reason why he disappeared from his family. Deeply moved by his story, the vlogger vowed to take him home.

Of course, the generous vlogger was not just about to send him off with his tattered clothes. They want Lolo Hernane to be presentable when he finally reunites with his family back in Dumaguete. Before sending him off, Pusang Gala personally bought Lolo Hernane new t-shirt, pants, and even shoes.

Indeed, it's amazing how a compassionate act can change the life of a person. According to Pusang Gala, he looks up to Raffy Tulfo, his idol who is also known for his charity and generosity. As of writing this, the video had already garnered almost 100k views on Facebook and the part 2 garnered almost half million views on facebook.

During their heartwarming meet-up, his siblings revealed that his real name is not Hernane, but Gregorio Palma. Watch their tearful reunion in this video below:
