Grupo ng mga Grab Food Drivers, Naghahari-Harian sa SM Marikina

Working as a Grab food driver is easier said than done. Most of the time, these delivery men are not compensated for their hard work that's why competition is tough. This prompts other drivers to find ways to have more customers. Just recently, netizens uncovered the modus operandi of a Grab food team to earn more.

According to the Facebook page "Riders Page," the culprits are Grab food drivers situated in SM Marikina. Apparently, they formed an exclusive team and they handle all orders in SM Marikina. Whenever a new driver comes in with a new order, the group members bully him into backing out from their territory.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Aside from turning other delivery guys away, they also use fake accounts to create fake orders. In one instance, the wife of one of the members even booked for 20 orders, without the intention of paying it. We can only imagine the loss of income the rider experienced with that cruel trick.

As expected, many netizens were enraged with this group. On Facebook, some netizens even united to report the Grab food drivers responsible for this behavior; calling for the suspension of those responsible. Many can't help but feel sorry for those riders who are only trying to make a living.

"Kahit saan larangan talaga meron mga sakim na tao. Hindi marunong magtrabaho ng patas. Mas masarap parin mamuhay ng walang inaaagrabyadong ibang tao. Tandaan niyo may pamilya rin silang binubuhay kaya nag susumikap sila. Sana naman intindihin niyo."

As of now, people are still waiting for a response from Grab about this issue. Hopefully, this matter will be address and the culprit will be apprehended.
