However, the supposedly 'secret wedding' in Shangri-La Fort turned into a publicized event after the bride's mother, Mommy Divine, gate-crashed in the wedding to stop her daughter from marrying.

Because of the so-called 'Divine intervention,' many people were disappointed with Mommy Divine. According to some netizens, it's about time for Mommy Divine to let go of her 31-year-old daughter. After all, for all of her life, Sarah has been an obedient daughter.

Many people have witnessed Sarah's sacrifices to give her family a better life. She rose to become one of the highest-paid singers in Kapamilya network, at the expense of her health and own happiness. In fact, some of her ex-staff can attest to Sarah's hard work and sacrifices.

Recently, one of Sarah's ex-staff took to social media to share his concerns about the Popstar Royalty. According to the unnamed ex-staff, fans do not get to see Sarah's sacrifices during shows. Even though she's often sleep-deprived, Mommy Divine still pushes her daughter to work relentlessly.

"Kahit puyat na puyat na si SG sasabihin pa rin ni Mommy Divine 'Maraming nakatingin sayo, saka konting oras na lang anak, labanan mo na lang pagod mo.' She always make Sarah feel so kalabaw! Literal na kayod kalabaw si Sarah sa nanay niya," said the ex-staff, who refused to be named.
