"Mahal ko siya, pero..."- Carlo Aquino, Aminadong Pinaasa lang si Angelica

Who can ever forget Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban's remarkable love team? Way back in the 90s, this iconic duo is one of the most popular love teams on television. Because of their chemistry on the screen, many people can't help but feel 'kilig' vibes at Carlo and Angelica's tandem.

Soon enough, their on-screen romance turned to real life. However, no matter how much they look perfect on screen, it seems like it's not enough to hold their relationship together.

Last year, the two paired up for their movie "Exes Baggage." During the taping, the two once again developed a close bond with one another, which led to romance. However, months later, Carlo was seen with the company of a model.


Because of this, Carlo received a backlash online. In the midst of the allegations, he chose to keep quiet, but in his most recent interview with Tito Boy, the actor finally revealed his true feelings for Angelica.

"Oo, mahal ko siya, pero parang mas gusto ko ng mas friends kami. Natatakot lang talaga kasi ako na masaktan siya ulit," claimed the actor, who was with his newest leading lady Maine Mendoza.

In retaliation, Angelica claimed that Carlo is no longer existing in her life. What can Carlo say about this harsh comment?

"Kung nasaktan ko siya nang ganoon, karapatan niya 'yon. Karapatan niyang pagdaanan, karapatan niyang maramdaman 'yon. At hindi ko dapat pigilan 'yon," replied the "Isa Pa With Feelings" actor.

For now, only time will tell if Carlo and Angelica will still get back together. After all, Carlo is with his girlfriend, Trina Candaza, while Angelica is happily single. Check out more on this video below:
