Guro, Nagulat sa Iginuhit na 'Pambansang Isda' ng Estudyante Niya

A teacher's job can be quite stressful. Managing numerous students on a daily basis is surely an exhausting job, but it is the little things in their profession that give them joy. Earlier this week, this teacher spread good vibes on social media after sharing what she discovered in her student's notebook.

Nazarene Joy Reyes is a teacher employed in St. Martin Montessori School. Every day, Teacher Joy handles many young students. One day, while she was checking their assignment, Teacher Joy was surprised to see what her student had written in her notebook.

For their lesson, Teacher Joy was discussing the national symbols of the country. You might be familiar with this topic since this lesson is being taught as early as elementary school. To make sure that they understood the lesson, Teacher Joy asked them to draw the national symbols at home.

While checking her student's homework, Teacher Joy was surprised to see what one of her students drew! In the space where the 'pambansang isda' should be, the student drew what looked like an unrecognizable avocado. To provide clarity, the student labeled the drawing with 'bangus.'

Teacher Joy shared her hilarious discovery on Facebook. She took a snap of her student's homework, along with the caption: “Napahinto ako sa pagche–check… Diyos ko anak bakit mo naman pinrito ang pambansang isda?”
