For a long time, singer Charice Pempengco has to hold back on his true feelings and identity. It took years for the international singing artist to finally come out of the closet and introduce her new identity as Jake Zyrus. Today, Jake Zyrus has finally bid goodbye to his old self and embraced his new identity with the new love of his life, Shyre Aquino.

Jake Zyrus has been in a relationship with Shyre for quite some time now. In an interview, Jake revealed that Shyre used to be one of his biggest fans. During one of his shows, they had the chance to meet. Although they were opposites attract at first, both Jake and Shyre eventually found their common ground.

"She started as a fan and I only met her in one of my shows. She is the outgoing type of person and I describe myself as an introvert. We both have learned to walk in each other’s shoes and manage to be the best versions of ourselves," says Jake.

In spite of other people's opinions about their relationship, Shyre and Jake Zyrus proved that their love for one another is stronger. In fact, according to Jake, he's very much contented and happy to have finally found a loving and supportive partner.

According to Jake, he's looking forward to starting a new family with his significant other: "I don’t know what the future brings but I am looking forward to marrying the woman I love and be with the family I choose."

On the other hand, many fans are happy to see that Jake Zyrus has finally found someone that truly supports him. Before that, he was in a long-term relationship with Alyssa Quijano, and he even turned his back on his family for the sake of Alyssa. However, their relationship eventually came to an end.
