Heart Evangelista, Emosyonal sa Biglaang Pagpanaw ng Kanyang Foster Puppy

For an animal lover, perhaps nothing is ever more painful than losing your beloved pet. They are not just mere animals, but they are also family. Pets provide comfort, solace, happiness, and unforgettable memories to their owners. Because of this, it's no wonder why losing a pet is just as hard as losing a loved one.

Earlier this week, Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista went through this heartbreak after her precious pet passed away. The 35-year-old actress is known for being an animal lover. Heart is also an advocate for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society and is known for adopting dogs.

The actress recently sheltered a foster puppy in her home. Heart gave her pet Aspin, or asong Pinoy, the name Linda. She was so excited to take care of this little puppy and even bought things to make Linda comfortable. According to Heart, she was already considering formally adopting Linda.

However, on April 21, Linda suddenly passed away. This broke the actress's heart so much, and she turned to social media to release her grief.

On Instagram, Heart looked back on her journey with Linda. Even though she only had her for a brief period of time, she holds a very special place in the actress' heart.

"So today I woke up with really, really bad news. The puppy, Linda, that I'm fostering died. I was only with her for half a day but I've never been so attached to a foster. I usually foster a lot but this one was extra special and I actually thought of keeping her, but she died. She had complications."

This is just one of the rare moments when Heart cried in public. However, she wanted to share her experience to also raise awareness about our beloved pets. In spite of her heartbreaking experience, Heart claimed that she will continue fostering animals.
