Halos Malugi ang Tindahang ito Dahil sa Isang Customer na Nag-Cancel ng Order
The coronavirus outbreak in the Philippines has left many businesses struggling. And now that the government is already easing up on the quarantine protocols, many small-time businesses are trying to get back on track. This is easier said than done, especially if there are still people who are trying to take advantage of small-time businesses.
Earlier this week, the owner of a pancit store shared his frustrating encounter on social media. On the night of May 14, a customer named Reynan Ganete ordered a pancit bilao worth of Php 1,000 from the Facebook page "Chacha Special Binalot sa Dahon."
All orders are pre-cooked beforehand, so once it's already placed, the staff will get to work to cook the pancit and to deliver it while it's still hot to the customers. At first, Ganete seemed to be just like any other customer who's waiting for his order. However, when the driver was already on his way, the customer changed his mind.
The customer had many excuses wit the order. At first, he claimed that his cousins preferred to just cook pancit canton. When confronted by the seller, he quickly changed his story and revealed that he has no money to pay for the order.
"Cancel na po. Mag-pancit canton na lang kami. Ayaw na po ng mga pinsan ko, canton na lang daw. Pabago-bago isip eh," said the customer on chat, even though the owner explained to him that his order was already cooked and the driver was already on the way.
In the end, he even threatened the owner to give him a 'shout out' on his blog. The owner responded by revealing their conversation on Facebook. As of writing this, the viral Facebook post has already reached almost 4k shares.
