Francis Leo Marcos, Arestado! Nasa Kustodiya na Ngayon ng NBI

Francis Leo Marcos, a popular Pinoy Youtuber, was arrested by the officials from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The arrest was made on May 19, and Marcos immediately surrendered and came in for questioning after being served a warrant of arrest. According to ABS-CBN, Marcos was arrested because of a case filed against him in Baguio City.

According to sources, the agency responsible for this case is the NBI Cybercrime Division. NBI officials also took custody of the businessman while his case is pending. He was accused of allegedly violating optometry law in Baguio City.



Meanwhile, no other details about the arrest or the case have been divulged. In several photos from Nikolo Baua of ABS-CBN news, Francis Leo Marcos was seen with the company of his legal representative. He also peacefully complied when he was arrested.

The Revised Optometry Law of 1995 states: "The State recognizes the essential role of optometry as a profession in safeguarding and enhancing the health and general physical well-being of the citizenry."

On the other hand, this is not the first time that Francis Leo Marcos has received negative publicity. A few weeks ago, the internet sensation was also scrutinized after former Senator Bongbong Marcos denied any kinship or connection with him. For a long time, Francis Leo Marcos claimed that he belongs to the Marcos clan.

In addition to this, he was almost kicked out of their exclusive subdivision. Neighbors filed a complaint against Francis Leo Marcos for allegedly disrupting the peace in their neighborhood. In one video, the internet sensation can be seen driving around their village while challenging his 'rich' neighbors to help others.
