"Anong pinagsasabi mo?"- Jobert Sucaldito, Umalma kay Coco Martin

Coco Martin made headlines earlier this week following his anti-administration tirade against the shutdown of ABS-CBN. The "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" actor is one of the highest-paid talents in the Kapamilya network. When the ABS-CBN network was ordered to go off air on May 6, Coco was one of the many celebrities who protested against the order issued by the National Telecommunication Commissions (NTC).

In an interview online, the 38-year-old actor went on a tirade against the forceful closure of his home network. According to Coco, the ABS-CBN shutdown will also affect their 11,000 employees who rely on the network for their livelihood. Coco even exclaimed that the future of his family is now uncertain because he has no job.

Many people were not impressed with Coco's statements, and among them is former DZMM broadcaster Jobert Sucaldito. On Facebook, Sucaldito wrote a lengthy message for the "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" actor. There, he questioned Coco Martin's allegedly exaggerated claims about losing his job.

Sucaldito pointed out that Coco is earning millions of pesos per episode of his high-rating show. "Ang Probinsyano" has been on-air for more than 5 years. With that in mind, even if he retires from showbiz, Coco Martin will still be able to support his luxurious lifestyle for a few years before going broke.

"Ngayon, anong pinagsasabi mong wala ka nang maipapakain sa pamilya mo dahil wala na kayong trabaho? At papaano ka magtatrabaho eh nasa gitna pa tayo ng epidemya, di ba? Suspended lahat ng trabaho? Pnasamantala lang naman ang closure ng ABS-CBN dahil pag naayos na nila ang requirement ng network, maaaring mag-ere na sila ulit."

Sucaldito has been with the Kapamilya network for almost 20 years until he was illegally terminated in January 2020. In a separate Facebook post, Sucaldito also revealed how the giant network treated some of its former employees unjustly, including him.
