Tatay na Frontliner na Na-Miss ang Anak, Gumawa ng Paraan Para Mayakap Ito

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed thousands of lives all over the world. In the Philippines, as of April 23, there have been 6,700 confirmed cases of COVID-19. In spite of the alarming threat, many frontliners like medical personnel and law enforcement authorities are laying their lives on the line in order to contain the spread of the virus.

Being a frontliner amid the COVID-19 pandemic is not easy. Their duties involve having direct contact with infected patients, or persons under investigation. Because of this, frontliners are also putting their lives at risk, including those people that they love.

Among those brave frontliners is Police Chief Master Sergeant Raphael Palacios. He's one of the law enforcement officers from Negros Occidental who are still working tirelessly to ensure that people are following the strict quarantine protocols.

Earlier this week, Palacios went viral on social media after his heartwarming reunion with his family. One of Palacios' two daughters is celebrating her birthday.

In spite of his hectic schedule, the devoted father made sure to attend this celebration. However, due to quarantine protocols, he can't be in direct contact with his little girls.

In order to hug them, Palacios used a makeshift personal protective equipment using plastic. This way, he can hug and hold his girls in his arms while still prioritizing their safety. As expected, many people were moved with their heartwarming reunion!

This just reflects the harsh reality that many of our frontliners are now facing. They are doing everything that they can to protect us from COVID-19, and the least that we can do to repay them is by staying at home.
