Loving Daughter! Angel Locsin, Sustentado pa rin ang Nanay Kahit Iniwan Sila

Angel Locsin is one of the most popular female celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry. The 34-year-old actress has everything she could wish for--a thriving career, a loving family, a supportive fiancee, and a solid fan base. Aside from being an award-winning actress, Angel is also known for her charitable works.

The 34-year-old actress was born Angelica Locsin Colmenares on April 23, 1985, in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. At a young age, it is evident that the young Angel is going to have a bright future. Her loved ones describe her as a vivacious young girl who is always stealing the spotlight with her beauty and charm.

In an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal way back in 2007, Angel revealed that she grew up in a broken family. Due to irreconcilable differences, Angel's father and mother decided to go their separate ways. In spite of that, they tried to make things work for the sake of their children.

"Ang hindi namin itinatago is the fact na matagal na silang hiwalay ng Dad ko. Nagdadalaga pa lang ako, talagang wala na sila sa isa’t isa. Naintindihan naman namin ‘yon dahil ‘yon naman ang gusto nila. Iyon na ang napagkasunduan nila at nirerespeto namin ‘yon."

In addition to this, Angel also revealed that her mother, Emma Colmenares, has already stopped working. Due to her old age, Angel herself asked her mother to stop working. In return, the kindhearted actress offered to support her living expenses.

"Oo, walang trabaho ang Mama ko at sinusuportahan ko siya. Although mas close ako sa tatay ko at siya ang lagi kong nakakasama at sa akin siya naka-tira, hindi ibig sabihin no’n na pinababayaan ko na ang Mama ko. Mahal ko ang taong nagbigay sa akin ng buhay dito sa mundo."

Indeed, Angel Locsin is not just an excellent actress, but a loving daughter as well! She has truly lived up to her name and served as an angel to other people.
