Frontliner na Nanay, Isinilid sa Plastic ang Anak Para Lamang Mayakap Ito

The coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on many people's lives. But perhaps the most affected of all are the frontliners, who are willing to risk their lives just to save patients who are suffering from coronavirus. Medical staff makes a huge sacrifice, and they are even willing to risk their lives for the sake of containing the spread of the pandemic.

However, their courage and dedication came at the expense of their personal life. Due to the risks involved in their work, most medical staff and frontliners are not allowed to go home because they fear they might carry the virus to their families. Because of this, they are also suffering from homesickness.

Among them is this mother from Nueva Ecija, who works as a frontliner against the COVID-19 pandemic. She has a young daughter, but due to the protocol, the mother can't hug or even touch her child, lest she risks transmitting the virus to her. Their heartbreaking photos made rounds on social media.

In spite of the obstacles, a mother's love will still prevail. In order to hug her child, this mother thought of an ingenious way to safely hold her without compromising her safety. Due to the lack of personal protective equipment, this mother used a makeshift plastic cover for her child.

This way, she can still safely hug her daughter. In a circulating video online, we can see their tearful reunion. The mother can't help but turn emotional, because this is the first time she has hugged her child for weeks. In spite of this, she still bravely chose to work as a frontliner.

As expected, this video immediately went viral on social media. As of writing this, the said video has already reached more than 8,000 shares on Facebook. Many people also expressed their admiration to the mother, for keeping her child's safety her top-most priority.
