Kim Chiu, Maluha-Luhang Idinetalye Kung Ano ang Pakay ng mga Gunmen sa Kanya

Almost a month after her controversial shooting incident, actress Kim Chiu has already spilled the beans. On her Youtube channel, the 'Chinita Princess' revealed what really transpired during the shooting incident. In addition to that, the Kapamilya actress also claimed that it was a case of mistaken identity and the target of the gunmen was not really her.

On the morning of March 4, the actress was on her way to taping with her personal assistant and personal driver. While driving in Katipunan Ave., gunmen riding in a motorcycle fired shots at Kim's van. Fortunately, all of the three passengers were safe from the shooting.

According to Kim, she doesn't want to recall the traumatizing experience. But she decided to finally speak up because she has been plagued with countless of questions and intrigue on social media. Some people were skeptical of the shooting incident, claiming that it was scripted.

The investigation revealed that Kim was not really the target of the gunmen. Instead, they are after another prominent personality who is also living in the same subdivision with Kim, and also owns the same type and model of van.

In an interview, Major Elmer Monsalve, Chief of Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, claimed that the gunmen were on standby while waiting for the van. As soon as they saw the black van emerged from the subdivision, they immediately tailed it.

On the other hand, it seems like not all people were pleased with Kim's confession. On social media, some netizens criticized the actress for allegedly drawing attention to herself in the midst of more pressing concerns in the country, like the coronavirus outbreak.
