Following her scandalous scene in Sarah and Matteo's secret wedding, many rumors about Mommy Divine's attitude resurfaced in social media. Even comedian Ai-Ai de las Alas revealed that Sarah's mother accused them of stealing the singer's t-shirt, even going as far as having their van searched.

Aside from being 'controlling' and 'manipulative,' many people are accusing Mommy Divine of allegedly micro-managing her daughter. As a stage mom, it is vital to always be hands-on with Sarah. However, it seems like Mommy Divine is taking things to the next level.

A staff from Philippine Entertainment Portal recalled Mommy Divine's allegedly 'selfish' attitude during Sarah's birthday. Years ago, the Popstar Royalty celebrated her birthday live on a program. As expected, Sarah was flooded with gifts and cakes from her sponsor.

Right from the start, staff was noticing how Mommy Divine was closely eyeing the cakes. When the show was over, the stage mom immediately ordered all of the cakes to be loaded in their van. Sarah received more than 10 cakes, and none of it escaped from Mommy Divine's keen eye.

Even the cake that Sarah sliced was loaded to the van, and none were left for the staff to eat. According to some netizens, if Mommy Divine was already this strict with birthday cakes, just imagine how much stricter she is when it comes to her daughter! It's a good thing that Sarah has finally come free from her reins.
