Ai-Ai delas Alas, Sinugod ni Mommy Divine ng Dahil Lamang sa T-Shirt

'Popstar Royalty' Sarah Geronimo's mother, Mommy Divine, received backlash from the public recently after meddling with Sarah and Matteo Guidicelli's wedding. If you can remember, Mommy Divine tried to intervene on the couple's secret wedding last February 20 in BGC. Because of this, many people criticized Mommy Divine's strict parenting.

Ai-Ai delas Alas, former Kapamilya comedian, also offered her two cents about Mommy Divine. In an exclusive interview with PEP, Ai-Ai revealed that she also had a beef with Sarah's mother in the past. At first, she refused to disclose it, but Ai-Ai eventually relented and opened up about the issue.

The 'Comedy Queen' has worked with the 'Popstar Royalty' on screen before. When Ai-Ai was still in the Kapamilya network, she played as the on-screen mother of Sarah in the hit series "Bituing Walang Ningning" which aired way back in 2006. While working together, Ai-Ai and Sarah formed a close bond that lasted for many years.

According to Ai-Ai, during taping, Mommy Divine confronted them about Sarah's missing t-shirt. The comedian told Mommy Divine that they did not get any t-shirt from Sarah, but the latter insisted. In the end, Ai-Ai's elder sister Joanne was the one who convinced Mommy Divine.

"Hindi naman sumama ang loob. Medyo na-off lang ako nang konti, pero noon pa yun. Kasi, nawala yung T-shirt ni Sarah, napagbintangan niya na kami ang kumuha. Nakakaloka, ‘Day!”

Moreover, Ai-Ai also claimed that it about time for Sarah to find her own happiness. After all, at 31 years old, the Kapamilya singer is not getting any younger.

"Hayaan na natin sa kaligayahan niya si Sarah. Kasi, 31 na si Sarah, e. And I think, lahat na tulong niya sa pamilya niya, nagawa niya. And it’s time na bigyan si Sarah ng kaligayahang para sa kanya."
