Judy Ann Santos' mother, Mommy Carol, shared her two cents on the feud between Sarah Geronimo and her mother. In an exclusive interview with Teleradyo Inquirer, Mommy Carol celebrated her upcoming birthday on February 25. She was also asked about her thoughts on perhaps the most trending topic on showbiz these days: Divine intervention.

Mother to mother, Mommy Carol had a piece of advice for Mommy Divine. According to Juday's mom, she never once intervened with her daughter's personal choices, especially including her love life because she trusts her daughter to do the right thing.

"Kahit nga ayaw mo ang mapapangasawa ng anak mo, the mere fact na gusto ng anak mo yun, wala kang magagawa. Kasi, ikaw ba ang pakikisamahan ng mapapangasawa? Pabayaan mo ang anak mo. Sila naman ang magiging maligaya. At the end of the day, kung magkakagulu-gulo, anak mo ang masisisi, at hindi ikaw."

In addition to this, Mommy Carol even threw shade at Mommy Divine's 'selfish' act of ruining Sarah and Matteo's wedding: "At the end of the day, ang isipin mo ay ang kaligayahan ng anak mo, hindi yung kaligayahan mo."

Some netizens can't help but compare Mommy Divine to Mommy Carol. According to others, Mommy Carol truly cares about the welfare and happiness of her daughter Juday. In addition to that, she's also open-minded and respects her boundaries as a parent in Judy Anne's life.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Mommy Divine. The stage mom faced backlash from the netizens after her attempt to thwart Sarah G and Matteo's secret wedding. According to some netizens, Mommy Divine is afraid to let go of her daughter, despite the fact that Sarah is already an adult capable of making her own decisions.
