Lovi Poe, Aminadong Hindi Mag-Aartista Kung Buhay pa ang Amang si FPJ

No doubt, Fernando Poe Jr. is one of the most legendary actors to ever grace the Philippine showbiz industry. Known popularly as 'Da King,' FPJ has changed the film industry forever. August 2020 marks the 81st anniversary of his passing, and until today, people are paying respect to the late king.

Even though he's already gone, FPJ's family still continues his legacy in the showbiz industry. His wife, Susan Roces, and his daughter Lovi Poe, have become respected actresses in their field. However, things might have been different if FPJ was still alive.

This was Lovi Poe's surprising revelation in an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal. Lovi has been really close to his late father. After he passed away, she continued her passion for acting and rose to be one of the Kapuso network's most promising stars.

But acting is not really Lovi's first love. Before she ventured into the world of showbiz, the 31-year-old actress took a course in Psychology. For a long time, she has dreamt of being a psychiatrist.

"Napag-usapan na rin namin ito ng kaibigan ko na parang maybe things would have been different if he was still alive. Things maybe different but, I guess, I’m just happy where I am now," claimed Lovi when asked about a career change.

Indeed, if Lovi did not pursue showbiz, we're sure that she's going to have a bright future as a psychologist. After all, she's not only a great star, she's an intelligent and independent woman as well.
