January was a sad month for basketball aficionados all over the world. On the 26th, NBA legend Kobe Bryant bid goodbye after a disastrous helicopter crash. The 'Black Mamba' was only 41 years old when he perished, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna. Until now, the world is mourning the loss of the basketball star.

In his passing, Kobe left his wife Vanessa and their three daughters. Yet even though 'Black Mamba' is no longer there to guide and support his family, they took comfort in the knowledge that they will have a prosperous life, thanks to Kobe's hard work when he was still alive.

Kobe is one of the highest-paid basketball players in history. In fact, he topped Forbes' list as the highest-paid athlete with over $680 million in net worth. Aside from being paid as a professional basketball player, Kobe is also raking in bucks from his multi-million dollar endorsements.

According to Forbes, ever since he entered the NBA 20 years ago, Kobe had endorsed more than 20 big brands. Among his endorsements were Nike, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Mercedes-Benz, and Hublot. With his assets, he also started business ventures such as BodyArmor and HouseCanary.

Years before his retirement, Kobe was already earning more than $60 million annually. A large portion of that is from his huge endorsement with Nike way back in 2003. The contract, spanning four years from 2003, has earned Kobe more than $40 million.

When he retired from the NBA in 2016, Kobe has amassed more than $680 million in net worth. That being said, with that astounding wealth, even though the 'Black Mamba' is already gone, we're sure that his family will be well-taken care of.
