Dahil Hindi Invited, Mommy Divine, Nag-Eskandalo sa Secret Wedding ni Sarah at Matteo

On Friday, rumors spread that Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo will be tying the knot with her fiance, Matteo Guidicelli. This was first unraveled by veteran columnist Ricky Lo, who confirmed that the two will be wed in a private ceremony. Yet other people were skeptical since Sarah was spotted in a taping of "The Voice."

Despite the reports that Sarah was spotted in a taping, the truth eventually came out. Ricky Lo was right after all, and Sarah and Matteo were wed in a secret ceremony that night. The civil wedding was held in Shangri-La Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.

Sarah and Matteo's wedding details were kept private, and only very few people were invited. It seems like Mommy Divine wasn't informed as well, and upon finding out about the wedding, Sarah's mom immediately rushed to the venue to stop her 31-year-old daughter from tying the knot.

According to a report from ABS-CBN, Mommy Divine arrived unexpectedly and made a scene and tried to talk her daughter out of the wedding. Soon enough, things got out of hand, which eventually led to a brawl between the groom and Mommy Divine's bodyguard.

Matteo allegedly punched the guard, Jerry Tamara, on the throat because he was the one who informed Mommy Divine of the wedding's location. Apparently, Mommy Divine had no idea that a wedding will be taking place. Tamara also reported the punching incident to the Taguig police.

Authorities claimed that Tamara brought a medical certificate to prove his injuries. However, he refused to file a case against Matteo Guidicelli.
