OFW leave their country to find their luck abroad. However, not all of them were fortunate enough abroad. Some overseas Filipino workers, especially those who are working in the Middle East, have harrowing experience at the hands of their employers.

Among them is Cecil Lacson. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old OFW left her hometown of San Pablo, Laguna, to work as a domestic helper in Saudi Arabia. She left her son under the care of her mother, Leonora.

Not even a year into her employment, Cecil started encountering problems. During her interview with Raffy Tulfo, the teary-eyed OFW claimed that her employer has failed to give her salary for three straight months now.


In addition to that, Cecil revealed that she is also overworked in her job. This caused her health to deteriorate, which alarmed her mother Leonora and prompted her to ask help from Raffy Tulfo. But that's not the worse that Cecil experienced.

As if that's not enough, Cecil also revealed that her male employer is harass1ng her. They even went as far as removing her toilet door! Afraid of being sanctioned, Cecil hasn't yet reported the incident to the authorities.



On the other hand, Raffy Tulfo has talked with Che Gonzaga from Prime World Manpower Agency about Cecil's situation. However, it seems like the agency has some lapses since they still do not have any direct action despite the incident being reported.

Due to the urgency of the situation, Raffy Tulfo gave an ultimatum for the agency. When the episode aired live on national TV, Raffy Tulfo asked the caseworker to rescue Cecil right away, or else they'll be held responsible.
