National anthem in every state or country should be taken seriously where each word should be delivered as its original if at least one can’t hit the right notes.

Also, an issue about the national anthem arises recently when Senator Sotto expressed his desire to push a bill to change the last course of the line of our national anthem, claiming it as “defeatist.”

Such claims received negative feedback from the critics and the netizens as well, still wanting the original composition.

Philippine National Anthem

A Facebook page Social Trend posted a video where a woman can be seen singing the Philippine National Anthem. The plot takes place on a football field where singing the national anthem of a participant country is a tradition before starting the official game.

Wrong Delivery

The woman starts good but after a few good lines, the words can be heard jumbled, causing the woman to mutter the wrong words. It sounds slang and seems like the song has been murdered by the singer.

She had almost taken every line wrong and even buckle for some words as if on the spot guessing the right lyrics.

Angered Netizens

Filipino netizens are disappointed with the outcome and even claim that such a woman should not be regarded as a Filipino.

For every Pinoy knows the national anthem by heart- even the kinder graders in the country. The woman was being hated by the Pinoy netizens for delivering the song in a “maarte” way, and even changes the lyrics.

After all, she should have practice and memorize it properly so as to show patriotism at least.

Most are dismayed and shameful of how the girl delivered the song. And some sarcastically claims that they were not informed that the national anthem has been modified already, faster than the proposed modification claims of Senator Sotto.
